Description

Application

For underground mines as well as in tunnels, if monitoring of outer damages is required. Used for the connection of mobile operating equipment, in mines and underground excavations with hazardous environment, in stationary operation e.g., high-voltage transformers in tunnelling.
PVC inner sheath, control-core and additional pilot cores, steel wire braid and PVC sheath.

 

Design

Phase cores

Copper, plain, flexible stranded acc. to DIN EN 60228 class 5;

 - inner semi-conductive stress control layer
 - EPR-rubber insulation acc. DIN VDE 0207 part 20
 - outer semi-conductive insulation shield layer

Protective conductor

Cross-section symmetrically split on each core made of plain copper wires, covering min. 80 %, colour: black with white no.1-3

Pilot cores

Copper, plain, flexible stranded acc. to DIN EN 60228 class 5, EPR-rubber core colour coding acc. DIN VDE 0293-308

Inner sheath 1

Bedding with plastic or elastic material filling the interstices and PVC sheath

Concentrical monitoring screen

Plain copper wires, DC resistance 3.30 Ohm/km at 20 °C

Inner sheath 2

PVC compound type DMV6 acc. to DIN VDE 0276-603

Armour

galvanized steel wire braid, covering min. 75 %

Outer sheath

PVC compound type DMV6 acc. to DIN VDE 0276-603
