Senior Vice President, Operations, Technology and Business Development 
Sandy Aivaliotis
Sandy is Senior Vice President, Operations, Technology and Business Development for The Valley Group, now a Nexans company. Sandy has been in this capacity since March 2007 and is leading technology development and commercialization of dynamic line ratings for overhead transmission lines to meet the evolving needs of the Smart Grid. He is active in the Smart Grid community and a member of the NIST T&D DEWG, NEMA and the NIST/EPRI Workshops.
Sandy started his engineering career as a Safety Engineer in the nuclear industry and joined Nexans in 1987 where he started in product development. In this capacity Sandy was instrumental in developing new products for the US medium voltage distribution market. Sandy was also active in standards development with ICEA, the IEEE ICC subcommittee, and also chaired an ICEA-EPRI Liaison Group promoting technical dialogue between manufacturers and technical leaders in the utility industry.
In 1995 he became Vice President Sales and Marketing, International. Since then, he assumed additional responsibilities as Vice President Sales and Marketing for the US utility as well as industrial markets. Prior to joining The Valley Group, he was Vice President, Business Development, International Cross Sales for Nexans in the Americas region.
Sandy obtained his engineering degree from Concordia University in Montreal and has completed executive education training at Harvard University. Sandy is a Professional Engineer.

Vice President, Sales and Marketing 
Ron Stelmak
Ron graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute with his BSEE and completed his MBA at the University of Bridgeport.
Ron has impressive credentials, having most recently been Director of Marketing for Jomitek, a SCADA manufacturer. Prior to that, Ron has held management and marketing positions with Nitech, A.B. Chance, and Westinghouse.
His experience spans thermal rating, SCADA, communications systems, and overhead line construction.
Ron has been with The Valley Group, Inc. since 1996.

Director, Technical Sales 
Tom Cleaver
Tom Cleaver is the Director of Technical Sales for The Valley Group. Tom graduated with a Master's Degree in Business Administration from Seattle University and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Tom brings to The Valley Group a steady and dynamic background in sales with Westinghouse Electric, Cooper Power Systems and most recently Composite Technologies Corporation.
Tom has been with The Valley Group since May, 2011.

Eastern Regional Sales Manager 
Jack D. Holodak
Jack Holodak is the Eastern Region Sales and has a wealth of experience in sales, research, engineering, and management in the electric utility industry.
Jack has most recently been Strategic Marketing Manager and U.S. Marketing Manager with ABB. Previously, he has worked for Burgoyne Sales and Westinghouse, as well as having run his own successful businesses, AIM Power Systems and RISE America, from 1971-1990. He has been a board member of several companies.
Jack has a B.S. from Manhattan College. He has been the recipient of the President's Award for Excellence, the highest award in ABB. Jack received the Coal Age Magazine Project of the Year in 1980.

Mid-West Regional Sales Manager
Rob J. Lamneck
Rob Lamneck is the Mid-West Regional Sales Manager and brings to The Valley Group a diverse background and extensive experience obtained while working for several fortune 500 companies. His expertise in Corporate Business Strategy, Executive Sales & Sales Management and Marketing gives him the know-how to solve complex business and customer problems.
Prior to joining TVG, Rob worked for Aclara (Esco Technologies) focused on building their Automated Meter Reading solution. Prior to that, he spent 7 years as an Associate Partner with Accenture in their Technology and Supply Chain Practice. Rob has also held executive positions with Procter and Gamble, Johnson & Johnson and Revlon.
Rob has a BA from the University of South Carolina and an MBA from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

Technical Sales Manager, Europe 
Gerhard Biedenbach
Gerhard worked for more than 10 years for RIBE Electrical Fittings, conductor and cable accessory manufacturer in Germany.
From 2004-2007, Gerhard has been President of Monitec, operating as sales representative for The Valley Group in 11 countries and providing consulting services to utilities for thermal ratings of overhead lines.
In 2007, Gerhard joined The Valley Group as Technical Sales Manager for Europe.
Gerhard is the Secretary of CIGRE WG B2.36 "Guide for Application of Direct Real Time Monitoring Systems on Overhead Transmission Lines." Gerhard received his Diploma Engineering degree from Technical University Darmstadt.

Manager, Applications Engineering 
Rob Mohr
Rob received his BSEE from Portland State University in 1993.
Rob joined The Valley Group, Inc. in 1998.
In 1991, he joined PacifiCorp in Portland, Oregon as a Student Engineer. He then worked as an Engineering Technician until graduation. After obtaining his BSEE degree, he worked as a Transmission Line Design Engineer until 1996. From 1996-1998, he worked as a Web Site Developer for GemStone Systems.

Technical Officer, Smart Grid Transmission Applications
Edvina Uzunovic, Ph.D.
Edvina Uzunovic is the Technical Officer for Smart Grid Transmission Applications for The Valley Group.
Edvina obtained her Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo in Canada. She also obtained an engineering degree from the University of Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has written many publications including studies dealing with power flow controllers.
Edvina worked for the New York Power Authority as a Research and Technology and Technology Development Engineer, and most recently with Alliant Energy of Madison, Wisconsin, as a Senior Quantitative Analyst where she traded annual and monthly Financial Transmission Rights in the Midwest ISO wholesale electricity market.
Edvina has been with The Valley Group since March, 2011.
