The Elm City, NC facility was founded in 1957 and has seen extensive investment in both people and physical plan allowing it to maintain or regain leadership in key core business segments. It has lead and continues to innovate development of fluoropolymer and high temperature composite insulated wire for the military and aerospace markets, low hazard and lightweight insulation for the military shipboard market and specialty high temperature insulation for the Automotive, Industrial and Appliance markets. In addition it also provides capability to support high pair count data cables for the LAN market place as well as providing specialty coaxial and databus cable products for the marketplace.
Nexans provides you with the flexibility of designing custom cables that best meet the requirements of your specific application. Our engineering and sales staff reconize that it is not always possible to find exactly what you need from the standard catalog list. We work closely with our customers to develop and/or improve their wire and cable product needs.
