New exclusive features.

Exclusive new features of the LANmark EVO connectors are:

  • shorter length - for ease of use in shallow boxes;
  • quicker installation - thanks to the new EMC (ElectroMagnetic Compatibility) cover;
  • easier to use - new wire organiser simplifies and speeds up wire placement;
  • reusability - the EVO series can be re-terminated using the new Universal Comfort Tool;
  • increased versatility - the range includes versions designed specifically for use with stranded conductors providing enhanced reliability for consolidation points.

The new LANmark EVO series connector is fully compatible with snap-in format outlets and patchpanels and can be used in conjunction with existing connectors if required.

In recent years, termination time has had an increasingly dramatic effect on the total installed cost. So Nexans has developed the EVO series with installers in mind to save at least 20 percent of the installation time compared with competitors products.

The EVO series will be phased in to replace the existing connectors during March and April as current stocks are replenished.

A new Universal Comfort Tool

 Nexans has also launched a new Universal Comfort Tool that can be used with the new EVO series connectors as well as the current range and the LANmark-7 GG45. In addition to providing fast reliable termination, it also enables the wire organiser to be removed in the event of a wire map error and re-terminated.
